Description

A Static Pass Box is a passive material-transfer chamber designed to safely move materials between two cleanroom areas with similar cleanliness classifications. It helps reduce unnecessary personnel movement, minimise door openings and prevent cross-contamination between controlled environments.

The unit is generally manufactured from stainless steel or powder-coated GI and features smooth, easy-to-clean internal surfaces. Its two doors are equipped with mechanical or electromagnetic interlocking, ensuring that only one door can be opened at a time. Static Pass Boxes are widely used in pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, hospitals, biotechnology facilities, food-processing units and cleanroom manufacturing areas.
