Description

A HEPA Box is a terminal air-filtration unit designed to supply highly purified air into cleanrooms and other controlled environments. It is generally installed in ceilings or ducting systems and contains a high-efficiency particulate air filter that removes fine dust, microorganisms and airborne contaminants from the supplied air.

HEPA Boxes help maintain the required cleanliness level, uniform airflow and positive room pressure. They can be manufactured using stainless steel, aluminium or powder-coated GI and may include a perforated diffuser, volume control damper, pressure-testing port and filter-clogging indicator. These units are widely used in pharmaceutical facilities, hospitals, laboratories, operation theatres, food-processing areas and electronics manufacturing units.
